This sleeve has been an absolute game changer for my boys recovery after his TPLO operation two weeks ago. He’s worn it the whole time apart from four days when he got an infection in the wound and we had no choice but to put the cone back on ( which he absolutely hated.) as the infection was so bad it was driving him crazy and obviously the sleeve is not meant for such things.. once the infection had gone he was straight back into the sleeve with no problem . I’m not really sure how we would coped without it especially in the early days postop . He really doesn’t mind wearing it and he can be quite funny about things like that, so that’s a testament to how comfortable it must be. The only thing I found was I couldn’t really walk him with it on ( so he could have a wee) but as he was so good having it put on and off I literally just took it off when we went out for a wee , as hanging onto the strap and onto him - he’s a big lad 44 kg - was quite difficult. So I take it off several times a day when he’s allowed out , this was good for him and also good for me as I was able to check the wound and adjust the fit , so it really wasn’t a problem for us and it has worked perfectly for us. 100 % recommend
Excellent product great fit and it looks so comfortable for the dog very easy to get on and off aswell fast delivery.
Perfect for our dog after he had surgery on his knee. Meant he didn’t have to wear his cone and wasn’t clanging into everything with his head !
This has been fabulous! My little pooch has had TPLO surgery and not needed to wear a collar at all. She’s a mini Houdini and has got around most things I’ve tried previously! Highly recommend!

Absolutely invaluable after my large German Shepherd’s recent TPLO operation he hates Buster collars , so this has made the whole process a lot less stressful than it could’ve been … I wasn’t sure which ( make ) to get, but I would recommend this one as it’s very light and easy to take on and off. he’s not bothered by this at all , I just take it off when I take him out for a wee, then I can check the wound which is pretty large and just put it back on afterwards . ( walking him while hanging onto the strap too and worrying that the sleeve will fall down was all a bit difficult but if you have a dog that tolerates it taking it on and off a couple of times a day is certainly working for us while outside, plus it’s not getting muddy or wet in the grass ) Great product
Fits well, adaptable, well made, doesn’t worry the dog and she hasn’t attempted to lick or pull at the sleeve. Requires surgery on her other leg as well so it’s great that it is reversible and will be able to use again.
Absolutely brilliant after CCL surgery. My dog was really distressed wearing a cone, and we also tried a donut collar, but she just couldn’t settle properly on top of having such a major operation. A friend recommended the Lick Sleeve and I was so grateful when it arrived the very next day. Cookie was finally able to sleep comfortably, which meant I could also get around six hours’ sleep between giving her medication. She is still wearing it 13 days post-op as she has tried to have the occasional nibble at her leg. The sleeve allows plenty of air to circulate and her scar has healed beautifully. It has made her recovery so much more comfortable & I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose dog is having CCL surgery
Worked great, easy to apply but doesn’t cover the top of the hip/ bum when the dog is lying down again.
Works well though it can slip down with movement when sleeping , very good material and I like the design that suits both legs ! . My dog does not seem to mind it on her leg which is great. All in all great buy removes the need for the " cone of shame "
The licksleeve is the best dog leg wound protector on the market. Very flexible and practical and so easy to use. Our dog had right leg TPLO and wore this sleeve throughout initial weeks of recovery without causing any distress whatsoever. Expensive but worth it.

The lick sleeve saved me from huge amounts of worry that my dog would get to his wound. It’s easy to put on and off, easy to wash and quick to dry. It’s much better for the dog to wear than a full recovery suit, was perfect for what I needed.
My dog hated wearing an Elizabethan collar after her operation on her knee so the licksleeve did a great job of keeping her wound clean and infection-free. Would highly recommend it!
This has been a tremendous help. Ralph struggles with a cone and this meant no cone, happier dog and helped the incision site heal with no complications. Given what is it and amount of material used, I did think it was expensive and postage cost was outrageous but it did do what it said it would do.
Was recommended to buy this for my dog post-hip replacement. It was easy to put on and she didn't mind it being on either. It has help keep her wound area free from infection and her wound has healed very well. She is slowly recovering well and we can't wait for her to be fully recovered
UK side delivery was terrible, sleave is really good, easy to use and clean. Fits perfect on the dog and hard wearing, would highly recommend.
Brilliant sleeve. My girl had a lump removal on her hind thigh. Unfortunately the wound stitches failed so we had to allow slow healing as an open wound. Impossible to manage without this sleeve. Our vet was very impressed with this as well. Only negative was the price. We needed 2 so £160 including the £20 shipping each time was a lot.
Works really well, dog was really comfortable (not stressed like in an Elizabethan collar). Material is lovely and soft

Absolutely life save for my springer who had mpl op 15 days ago haven’t needed the horrible cone at all defo recommend this 🙌🙌
While Lilly was not a big fan of the cone, her humans were happy that she couldn’t lick her stitches and infect it like last time. This saved us so much money on additional vet bills that it was definitely worth it, especially for a dog that can get around cones or are able to destroy them over night.

A friend recommended a lick sleeve after our dog ruptured her cruciate ligament and needed TPLO surgery. We knew from previous experiences she hated the cone of shame so wanted an alternative. This has been a game changer! It doesn’t bother her at all to have it on, it allows the wound to breathe and heal and stress free. Worth every penny and highly recommend
Our dog has had his ankle fused so we were worried about him leaving the wound alone when his bandages came off and fear of infection. We’ve only had the lick sleeve on for two days, but he’s taken to it very well and is leaving it alone. It must be comfortable for him not to react! It’s very good quality and easy to put on when you get the hang of it. So far, very impressed!
My Cavalier King Charles spaniel had patella laxtion surgery and it has been a godsend. She hasn’t had to use a cone and it's really worked well, very comfortable for her and really impressed thank you.
This is the second time we have purchased and used this product. Our Beagle/Labrador cross used the product last year when he had TPLO surgery for cruciate ligament injury. It proved very useful so when he needed the same procedure on the other leg this year this product was our go to. Not only does it protect the wound and provide cover to the shaved leg, it completely necessitates the need for an Elizabethan cone (which failed abysmally)

The look of the Lick Sleeve is very chic and the packaging is lovely! We are yet to use it in practice to give a good idea on how it works, but the material feels really nice and breathable and I look forward to hearing review from owners after a patient trial.
My Goldendoodle had TPLO surgery and really hated the cone he returned home from the vet with. I searched online and found your company and was so impressed with the reviews I immediately ordered the lick sleeve. It was delivered within 2 days and can honestly say we would not of got through these past two weeks of his recovery as easily without this! It goes on and off really easily & my dog seems comfortable wearing it. It has totally protected the wound from him getting to it while still allowing him freedom from wearing the cone!

Absolute godsend! My dog had cruciate ligament surgery and hated the cone and inflatable collar, so the lick sleeve saved the day. It’s pricey, but worth the investment.
Fits well, easy to put on and adjust the strap. Lovely soft material, suited my dog for her cruciate surgery recovery just perfectly and kept the wound safe, clean and dry. Very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend
